Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will handle various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. This role involves maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and providing support for the accounting department. Key Responsibilities: Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and complete financial records and transactions. Prepare and process invoices, bills, accounts payable, and receivable. Data Entry: Enter financial data into accounting software. Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records. Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and financial records. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Support: Provide support to the accounting department in various capacities. Assist with payroll preparation and processing. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Assist in audits and prepare audit documentation as required. Communication: Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve billing issues and discrepancies. Respond to inquiries and provide necessary information. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field is preferred. Experience: Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role. Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures. Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
