Our client, a distinguished law firm is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to join their Practice Development team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our practice groups, practice areas, and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Practice Development Manager and Practice Development Specialist to execute business development initiatives within our practice groups. Manage submissions for legal rankings, ensuring accurate tracking of submission details over time. This includes conducting relevant research, gathering case data, and maintaining up-to-date practice group information. Keep practice group intranet and other internal knowledge management pages current by posting news, articles, case law, training materials, and other pertinent content. Assist, and at times lead, in crafting presentations for practice groups and clients. Aid in on-boarding processes for lateral partners, which includes creating contact lists and schedules, coordinating with various departments, and organizing the distribution of practice group and firm materials. Support practice group, practice area, and initiative meetings by preparing agendas, taking comprehensive notes, and ensuring effective follow-up to maximize outcomes. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience. Preferably, experience in a law firm, professional services, or corporate environment. Strong project management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks. Proficiency in using technology, databases, presentation software, and spreadsheet applications. Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with individuals at all organizational levels. Proficiency in both English, Chinese and Mandarin is a must.
