Toptalent Recruitment Agency is partnering with a leading Outsourcing/BPO consultancy to identify a highly skilled IT consultant with expertise in Active Directory, fluent in German, to work remotely in Germany. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining AD solutions for clients, ensuring seamless deployment, adoption, and ongoing support. WORK MODE Remote/work from home from anywhere in Germany with 30-40% of assignments requiring travel by train throughout the country DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Act as an expert in your field for well-known business customers of our client and successfully implement Active Directory projects remotely or on-site as required. Design and implement Active Directory environments and also play a leading role in complex migrations, such as cross-forest migrations and integration into the Entra-ID Cloud. Advise the IT team of business customers with your knowledge through subject-specific presentations and training, e.g. on product innovations or application areas . We process inquiries about disaster response plans and security assessments and develop tailor-made solution concepts for varied scenarios that meet the requirements of our customers. Independently design, advise and implement Microsoft Active Directory and Identity as part of security solutions and accompany complex customer projects as a trustworthy contact person through all phases. Define best practices and standards, especially in the area of Active Directory, identities and hybrid positions of on-premises and cloud. You will work closely with our client to discuss technical topics, organize workshops and maintain our partnership . Report directly to the dedicated global account team. REQUIREMENTS Have very good communication skills in German (C2) and English (B2). Are residents in Germany. Have at least 5 years of experience with directories (LDAP, Active Directory) and at least 3 years of hands-on experience with domain controllers, domain joins, LDAP/AD authentication, and user/group accounts and permissions. Sound knowledge of Azure Active Directory (AAD) as well as practical experience with at least two cloud AD products (e.g. AWS, Azure) and at least 3 years of implementation experience. Have experience with AD migration projects (from on-premises AD to Azure or other cloud directory services). Have an in-depth understanding of Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS). Knowledge of Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (ADLDS) and Active Directory Rights Management Services (ADRMS) is an advantage. Have experience with PowerShell (Windows and AD PowerShell) and/or Ansible scripts for managing Windows Active Directory. Have an in-depth understanding of Windows Server, DNS, and DHCP. Have experience implementing security policies such as MFA, Conditional Access, Azure RBAC model, and connection synchronization rules. Are well-versed in the planning, design, construction and implementation of AD forests. Have fundamentals in design and architecture for Windows/LDAP Active Directory Management. Ideally, have an ITIL certification and a Microsoft Azure Fundamental certification or equivalent.
