RESPONSIBILITIES Required to utilize the container receiving schedule to plan and organize the receiving requirement for the site Preparing the warehouse space for new shipments Ensure quality checks are done on the incoming containers Receiving and check all stock accurately Labelling all stock Manage all batches for stacking Identify damages, quantify and advise the Shipping Department Capture and prepare the packing slip for GRN Manage the return of empty containers REQUIREMENTS Grade 12 (Maths or Maths Literacy is essential not negotiable) Minimum of 3 years in warehousing environment Computer literacy is essential Competency in Excel is essential Warehousing and stock control methods and procedures. Methods of receiving, inspecting and issuing materials. Warehouse operations, procedures, equipment and terminology. Space utilization and inventory techniques. Health and safety regulations. Inventory methods and practices. Able to identify tiles samples and provide guidance Knowledge of tiles/flooring Principles and practices of training and providing work direction. Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy. Able to work alternate weekend RUMUNERATION R12,000 (Negotiable)
