Job Overview: We are currently seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. We would also consider part-time candidates who are looking for a minimum of 30 hours per week. The working hours for this role are 40 hours per week, with a shared weekend rota of just 1 in 4 weekends. There are no out-of-hours shifts required for this position. Key Responsibilities: - Assisting the veterinary surgeons in all aspects of animal care, including surgery, consultations, and diagnostic procedures - Providing excellent nursing care to all patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being at all times - Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the veterinary surgeons - Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records - Communicating effectively with clients, providing education and advice on pet care and welfare - Assisting with the training and supervision of student nurses and veterinary care assistants - Maintaining a clean and organized work environment Qualifications and Experience: - Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification - Previous experience working in a small animal practice is preferred - Knowledge of veterinary nursing procedures and protocols - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position is £28000 - £30000, depending on experience and qualifications.
