A leading Intellectual Property Firm has an opening for an experienced Trade Mark Secretary. Duties and Responsibilities: Primary tasks: Dictaphone typing with high accuracy and speed. Correspondence with internal and external departments General Administration and Diary management. Invoicing, cost estimates and reporting for clients Updating matters on the internal system. Managing of Trade Marks on external databases such as Anaqua, Inspiro and Patricia. Instructing TM searchers to conduct searches and typing of search reports. Preparation of Trade Mark schedules. Receiving instructions and preparation of Trade Mark applications. Instructing foreign applications. Prosecution of Trade Mark applications (receiving official actions, reporting to the client; taking the client's instructions and attending to the compliance of the official actions). Preparation of powers of attorney and/or authorisations of agent. Requirements: 5+ Years experience Proficiency in MS Word, Anaqua, Inspiro and Patricia Dictaphone typing. Attention to detail, time management and high analytical thinking. A solid understanding of trade mark law, regulations, and procedures.
