ACCOUNTABILITIES: The Support Technician will: Participate and contribute to large-scale projects with occasional supervisory responsibilities as required; Conducting the setup and maintenance of the Company networking infrastructure, including but not limited to networks, wifi access points, firewalls/anti-virus, office equipment, Microsoft servers, UPSs and switches; Carry out routine networking and routing as required; Carry out cabling for IT and telephone systems jobs; Liaise with external suppliers on maintenance, managing issues through to resolution; Provide proactive first-line support for staff with timely assistance for all support enquiries; Support the IT Senior Technician & Manager in disaster recovery or system down situations; Conduct the backup schedule and restore any data as required; Set up new users and process leavers in accordance with agreed IT procedures; Carry out other reasonable work-related requests as directed by the Line Manager. REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES: Previous IT experience in an IT service delivery team or MSP required. Relevant IT qualifications such as CompTIA A+ or equivalent and Microsoft certifications are essential. Vendor certifications in M365, EntraID, WatchGuard, Veeam, StorageCraft and Mimecast would be an advantage.
